Jakarta (28/08), PT Marga Lingkar Jakarta (MLJ) celebrated its 15th anniversary with a grand event held on August 28, 2024, at the tennis court of the MLJ Operational Office in Meruya, West Jakarta. Under the theme “Accelerating Sustainable Growth,” MLJ remains committed to enhancing its services for stakeholders as an effort to increase capabilities for continuous progress.

During the celebration, MLJ’s President Commissioner, Yosafat Siregar, inaugurated the construction of the MLJ City Park, covering an area of 612 m2. The MLJ City Park features a green open space arrangement around the MLJ office, including a plant nursery, jogging track, mini golf area, and ornamental pond. The inauguration was marked by the symbolic planting of 50 rare fruit trees donated by the Pranaraksa Centre Astra.

MLJ consistently strives to increase its contribution and positive impact on the surrounding community through various sustainable initiatives in social, educational, health, environmental, corporate governance, and compliance sectors. On this 15-year milestone, MLJ, in collaboration with Meruya Utara Subdistrict, signed a memorandum of assistance for community health post (posyandu) activities and with the Principal of SDN Meruya Utara 08 for extracurricular activity assistance programs.

MLJ also consistently manages waste in partnership with the West Jakarta Environmental Agency, including recycling construction leftovers for use in communities in need. This initiative is part of MLJ’s social and environmental responsibility program and its effort to improve Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As part of its sustainability efforts in governance and compliance, MLJ has also obtained ISO 37001:2016 certification from the British Standard Institution (BSI) Indonesia for the implementation of an Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP). This demonstrates MLJ’s serious commitment to preventing and addressing bribery risks throughout the company. During the peak of the 15th-anniversary celebration, the certificate was symbolically handed over by the Country Manager of PT BSI Group Indonesia, Nolia Natalia, to the President Director of MLJ, Ari Wibowo.
