Jakarta (28/08) – PT Marga Lingkar Jakarta (MLJ) celebrated its 15th anniversary with a grand event held on August 28, 2024, at the tennis court of MLJ’s Meruya Operational Office, West Jakarta. With the theme “Accelerating Sustainable Growth,” MLJ reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing services to stakeholders as part of its efforts to boost capabilities for continuous progress.

During the celebration, MLJ’s President Commissioner, Yosafat Siregar, inaugurated the construction of the 612 square meter MLJ City Park. The MLJ City Park is part of an open green space development at the MLJ office, featuring a plant nursery, jogging track, mini golf area, and ornamental pond. The inauguration was symbolized by the planting of 50 rare fruit trees donated by the Astra Pranaraksa Centre.

MLJ consistently strives to increase its contribution and positive impact on the surrounding community through various sustainable initiatives in the fields of social responsibility, education, health, environment, and corporate governance and compliance. On this 15-year milestone, MLJ, together with the Meruya Utara Village Office, signed an agreement for a support program for local health posts (Posyandu) and with the Principal of SDN Meruya Utara 08 for the extracurricular activity support program.

In collaboration with the West Jakarta Environmental Agency, MLJ also continues to manage waste, utilizing construction waste for community areas in need. This initiative is part of MLJ’s corporate social responsibility and environmental program, as well as its effort to improve its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As part of its commitment to governance and compliance sustainability, MLJ has also achieved ISO 37001:2016 certification from the British Standard Institution (BSI) Indonesia for its implementation of an Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP). This demonstrates MLJ’s serious steps in preventing and mitigating bribery risks across the company. During the 15th anniversary celebration, the certificate was symbolically presented by PT BSI Group Indonesia’s Country Manager, Nolia Natalia, to MLJ’s President Director, Ari Wibowo.
